author of fiction and nonfiction children's books, a writing teacher
and independent publisher. Her books have been translated into
eight languages. Best known for her work in children's literature,
she is also a writing teacher traveling across the country presenting
her "Novel Revision Retreat" and has been featured as
a writer and writing teacher in such publications as Writing Young
Adult Fiction For Dummies and The 2012 Writer's Market. She's
