Bobbi Katz does two types of visits:

- School Visits

- Presentations to Teachers, Librarians & Parents

Her School Visits:

 - make kids fall in love with language using rhythm, word play and movement.

 - clarify the difference between poetry and prose.

 - help students use words to express feelings and make fresh observations of the world.

 - show the stages of how an author's words become a book.

Ms. Katz will do up to three presentations a day, plus autograph books for as long as necessary.

Her Workshops for Educators and Parents

 - make teachers, librarians, parents, and students comfortable with poetry.

 - show how to integrate poetry into the curriculum.

Honorarium

This should be presented to Ms. Katz at the end of her last day of the visit. Generally speaking, her honorarium is $1,250 a day, plus expenses.
